How MyPDF redaction works

Use Redact PDF before you send a contract, statement, or form that contains names, account numbers, or other private details.

In Permanent mode, each page with a box is redrawn as an image with the boxes burned in. The original text and images on that page are left out of the new file, so they cannot be selected, searched, or extracted. Pages without boxes keep their text. Check the result before you share it, and use a certified product when a law or contract requires one.

The file never leaves your computer. One job is counted when you download the redacted PDF.
