What you get
Bank statement to Excel looks for a table and maps it to Date, Description, Withdrawals, Deposits, and Balance. A Summary sheet lists account number, statement period, and opening or closing balance when those labels are in the text.
The original clustered table stays on a Raw sheet. Use that sheet when a row looks wrong. The normalized sheet is the one to import after you have checked it.
Scanned statements
If a page has almost no selectable text, OCR runs in your browser, up to 15 pages. The PDF is not uploaded. A photo of a paper statement is a different tool: use the image bank-statement pages, not this one.
Fix a row, then run the next file
After the extract, the transaction cells can be edited before you download. The column match from that run is reused on the next statement in this browser, so a second file from the same bank does not start from a blank guess.
Unusual layouts, multi-account PDFs, and stamps still miss rows. This is not your bank’s official export. Check every total against the PDF before you rely on it.
Cost
Five jobs a day and files up to 25 MB are free, with no account and no watermark. A $5 day pass covers 100 jobs and 200 MB files for 24 hours and ends on its own. Pro is $9 a month or $69 a year.
Questions
Does the bank statement get uploaded?
No. Reading and OCR happen in your browser. The PDF stays on this device.
Will every transaction match the PDF?
No. Treat the Excel file as a draft. Compare it with the Raw sheet and the statement before you post it.
Can I do a whole month at once?
Yes, up to 20 statement PDFs in one workbook on this page. Pro and Team also include Batch PDF: one tool, one recipe, or one workflow on many files, then a ZIP. Light jobs allow 100 files. Convert, grayscale, PDF/A, repair, protect, unlock, a recipe that converts, and a workflow allow 10.
