What you get
The workbook has a Summary sheet and a Line items sheet: Date, Invoice / SKU, Description, Quantity, and Amount. Labels such as invoice number, invoice date, bill to, and total are copied onto the summary when they appear as text.
You can correct a cell before download. The column match is kept for the next invoice in this browser.
What it will not do
A scanned invoice with almost no text is OCR’d in the browser, up to 15 pages. A photo uses Receipt to Excel instead. Two different jobs in one sentence, such as “extract and email the vendor,” are not run as a chain.
Check the amount column against the invoice total. Layouts that put tax, shipping, and the grand total in the same column need a human look.
Cost and privacy
The PDF stays on your device. Five jobs a day are free. A $5 day pass is for a stack of invoices on one afternoon. Pro is $9 a month or $69 a year if you do this every week.
Questions
Is invoice to Excel the same as PDF to Excel?
No. PDF to Excel keeps the detected table. Invoice to Excel remaps that table into date, SKU, description, quantity, and amount.
Does the invoice get uploaded?
No. The file stays in your browser, including OCR on sparse pages.
