Features

PNG only

This landing accepts PNG. For a JPEG, use JPG to TXT. The extract is the Image to Text job.

Words, not columns

This page downloads OCR text. Image to Excel and Image to CSV reconstruct rows and columns.

Not OCR PDF

This is a photo. For a scanned PDF, use OCR PDF. For selectable PDF text, use PDF to TXT.

Files stay local

OCR runs in your browser. We do not upload the image.

Honest OCR

We use Tesseract. Skewed photos, tiny type, and handwriting will miss words.

PNG to TXT vs Image to Text

People search PNG to TXT when they want the text-file extension by name from a PNG. This page runs the same /image-to-text OCR. It is not a second tool in the Tools grid.

Use PDF to TXT if the words are already selectable in a PDF. Use OCR PDF for a scanned PDF.

PNG only. For a JPEG, use JPG to TXT. Not OCR PDF. Not a certified reader.
