No. PDF to Excel reads the file in your browser. The PDF stays on this device.

How many PDFs can I convert for free?

Free use is 5 jobs a day and files up to 25 MB, with no account. A $5 day pass raises that to 100 jobs and 200 MB files for 24 hours. Pro is $9 a month or $69 a year if you do this often.

What if the PDF has no real table?

You still get a workbook. Page text goes in one column. Use Invoice to Excel or Bank statement to Excel when you want those columns remapped.

Is the Excel file a perfect copy of the PDF layout?

No. The tool groups text positions into rows and columns. It is not a certified reconstruction of every visual table.
