When to extract PDF tables
Use this when you want to see the detected table before you keep the files, and you want both Excel and CSV.
Detection groups text by position. Complex layouts, merged cells, and image-only scans will not match a dedicated table engine.
If no table is found, we put the page text in one column so you still get files. For scans, run OCR PDF first so the words exist.
