How to convert a receipt image to Excel

  1. Choose a JPG or PNG of a receipt — a photo, scan, or screenshot.
  2. Pick the language that matches the text.
  3. Click Extract receipt. OCR and table reconstruction run in your browser, then we remap date, SKU, description, quantity, and amount.
  4. Preview the line items and download the .xlsx. Raw tables stay on extra sheets.

When to use Receipt to Excel

Use this when the receipt is a photo or scan. If you already have an invoice PDF, use Invoice to Excel. A generic table photo belongs on Image to Excel — that page does not remap finance columns.

We reuse the invoice normalizer (`profile="invoice"`). There is no second extractor. Invoice image to Excel is the same job for people searching that query.
